CICC SCAVENGER HUNT:

On Sat., June 4th, the club will be hosting a scavenger hunt.  This event will start at Kenny Brown’s facility on Gasoline Alley at 11:30 am.  Item list will be provided and the search begins!  Everyone will have 3 hours to search for as many items as possible, we will gather at Gray’s Family Restaurant in Mooresville at 2:30 pm.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 scavengers!  For those unfamiliar with Gray’s, they are located at the intersection of State Rd 67 and Indiana Street in Mooresville.   For those who just want to meet for a late lunch, feel free to join us at Gray’s around 2:30pm. On another note, there will be a caravan leaving from this location between 3:30 pm to go to The Suds in Greenwood, where the Car Craft’s Cruisin USA is gathering.

CAR CRAFT’S CRUISIN USA:

In the July issue of Car Craft there was an article about Cruisin USA is back!  In the article they mention that out of 1200 possible cruise sites, six were picked.  This is a grass roots gearhead grouping, not the normal car show.  Photo Ops for upcoming magazine articles will be on hand.  One of the six sites selected is The Suds in Greenwood on Sat., June 4th  at 4:00pm. We are hoping we can get everyone together to possibly get the club or even a member’s car in the magazine.  Anyone interested in cruising as a group should meet at Gray’s Restaurant in Mooresville.  (see above scavenger hunt note)  This should be a neat event, and we hope to see as many of you as we can to represent THE CAMARO……………..!!

HOT ROD POWER TOUR:

On June 6th, the Hot Rod Power Tour will be at Indianapolis Raceway Park doing some drag racing and then will continue their tour.

DYNO DAY AND PICNIC:

On July 9th, at 9:00am, the club will be having a dyno day at Kenny Brown’s performance center followed by an on-site picnic around 12:00pm.  Cost for the dyno is $75.00 for 3 pulls.  It will be a great way to find out  how much horse power your winter projects have yielded.  We will have a prize for the top dyno run for the day.

As with each picnic, the club provides the meat, drinks and paper products and we’ll rely on the members to pitch in the remaining food items.  (Last names beginning with A-L, bring side dishes or casseroles and last names beginning with M-Z, bring desserts or snacks). Even if you don’t wish to dyno your car that day, just come on out and hang out with everyone!  We will have things to do for the whole family at the picnic.

This picnic will be the club meeting for the month of July.

This date will also serve as the rain date for the Karting outing.  If needed, the Karting outing will follow the picnic.

SUPER CHEVY SHOW:

Just a reminder, the Super Chevy Show will be running from July 14th though the 17th this year at Indianapolis Raceway Park.  We can discuss at the June meeting if people are interested in going to this event as a group.  Also watch the message board for further info.
