World of Wheels 2010
This years
Word of Wheels was a great success for the club. We had 5 club members enter this year and took away 5 awards plus second
place in “Club Display”! Attendance For this years show looked to be down a little but with the weather conditions
outside it could have been a lot worse. I did see quite a few 5th gen Camaro’s at the show. These cars are
awesome and they have put the name “Camaro” back in the limelight!!!
Winners at the show were Steve Ellis, Club President.
Steve took home runner up in his class with his beautiful 1969 Camaro. Tim Esteb, Club Vice President brought home a “Best
in Class “with is awesome 2002 Camaro SS. Club Membership Director, Dennis Dickman brought home an “Outstanding
in Class” award with his awesome low mileage 1970 Camaro RS/SS. Club member Bad Carr also brought home an “Outstanding
in Class” award with his VERY clean 1984 Camaro Z28. And new club member, Bruce Raymond of Raymond’s Alignment
in Plainfield brought home a “Best in Class” award with his Red Jewel 2010 Camaro SS!
It
was great to see everyone and we are already talking about next year!
