2010
Central Indiana Camaro Club
July 5th Meeting Notes
Met
at our new meeting place Midwest Performance Hardware (MPH), 4155 N 1000E (Wally Parks Dr) Suite C, Brownsburg, IN. at 7:00PM.
· Briefly reviewed the June meeting notes.
·
Still need to get the final numbers and donations for our May show
posted for everyone.
· Kay was unable to make the meeting so we are still unsure how our tax status issue is coming along.
·
We voted to make October 9th the official date for our
Fall Show which will be held at the former Bud Wolf Chevrolet location. Still lots of details to be worked out at future meetings,
we also need to confirm with Andy Wolf but feel it should be a good date with him.
·
The club cruise event has been voted on and decided. We will be
cruising to THE CHEVROLET HALL OF FAME MUSEUM, 3635 U.S. 36 East, Decatur IL on the 25th of September. More details
to follow. We would also like to open it up to any other local groups that would like to join in; Indipala, Firebird, GTO,
etc.
· The
red, white , and blue tri-bar Camaro logo we wanted to use for our club T-shirts has been officially approved. We are working
to get a provider/vendor and get some new club T-shirts out to members soon!
·
We had our vote and approved the latest By-Law amendment creating
a Media Director position. We then voted that Brian Morgan would fill this new officer position since he's been doing
a wonderful job at doing it already, so now it's official!!!!
·
We discussed the numerous upcoming shows. If you'd like to
review them they are listed on our club web-site on our events calendar with a couple on the front page of the site. Thanks
Media Director Brian!!!!!!!!!!!
· We have tentatively planned the club picnic for Sept. 18th at Eagle Creek Park providing a
shelter will be available for us to reserve, date and location could change.
·
We briefly discussed the Holiday party and thought it would be
best to rent a banquet hall or something like that so we have plenty of room for people and FOOD!!!!! Will work more on it
at future meetings.
· Mark Kaiser of MPH introduced himself and his business. Good place to have our meetings and very happy he
can accommodate us, NICE GUY!!!!
· Ended up with everyone introducing themselves to the group so we can all get to know one another!
I think that's most of it!
